The biggest educational exhibition at Universitas Airlangga has been held rousingly.
Although this year’s AEE was held virtually through zoom, it did not reduce the number and enthusiasm of AEE 2021 participants. The talkshows and webinars on February 13 were the first to open a series of Airlangga Education Expo 2021 events, followed by the Faculty Introduction sessions from February 15 to February 19. One of the study programs involved in the event is the D3 English study program.
Zahwa, as the head of the 2020-2021 EDSO Student Association Huminfo Division, explained that the English D3 Study Program was allowed to provide material in the form of sharing, explained the vision and mission of the study program, shared experiences of students and graduates who have succeeded in the world of work.
The promotion, which took place for three days on 15, 19, and 23 February 2021, was encouraged by lecturers and supervisors of the student association and members of the 2020-2021 student association.
On February 15, 2021, presenting Mr. Sidarta as Head of the Study Program, Mrs. Maya, and Mrs. Angkita as Head of the Student Association, which was responsible for delivering the event activities assisted by the Student Association members to dozens of participants.
On February 19, 2021, only Mrs. Angkita and the Student Association members were assigned to make presentations in front of high school students.
Meanwhile, on the last day of promotional activities, February 23, 2021, Mr. Fajri and Mrs. Angkita, with the Student Association members assisted, were in charge of presenting a series of activities.
“We present various videos of the work of EDSO friends, then there is an explanation of the study program information that is shown through a PowerPoint, and also the study program website which the Huminfo division is currently reviving,” she explained when contacted via WhatsApp.
She also added that high school students were very enthusiastic. They scrambled to write questions in the chat room column. Some of them were even asked through private chats to the student association members.
With this activity, it is hoped that it will attract high school and vocational high school students to join the D3 English study program in the coming year.
